Hi, I’m Sage!

I’ve just joined A Degree of Freedom structural engineer PLLC.

Following a master’s at RPI, I did a brief stint designing waterfront civil structures before moving to another small buildings firm in the city. I’m now coming off a gap year in which I remodeled my condo in Bayonne, NJ, DIY style, and laid the foundations for a creative life-coaching brand (check out @plinthplans on Instagram).

Originally from the woods outside a small town in Missouri, I am completely enamored with New York City and all it has to offer. I enjoy going to Broadway shows, concerts, art exhibits, museums, and just wandering the streets, still looking up at the buildings like a tourist on day one. At home, I enjoy spending time with my cat and husband. I do yoga, watch romcoms and sci-fi, make playlists, try to get outdoors, and sleep a lot. I’m also quite active in my church.

I am happy to be joining the company. I love architecture and buildings and am excited to be a part of the shaping of this incredible city.
