New 12000 sq ft resident
Following the demolition of the vacant building at 153 Freeman Street, A Degree of Freedom, in collaboration with Pliskin Architects, designed the new 151–153 Freeman Street development. The four-story structure comprises seven residential units, along with a partial cellar level bearing on Stelcor Piles.
The fourth floor accommodates penthouse bedrooms for the two third-floor units and provides access to a shared rooftop garden, offering expansive views over Greenpoint. The building is constructed using CMU block and galvanized steel, creating a durable and efficient structural system.
